Ready

Jon brought in the prettiest tree yesterday, and I just finished stringing the lights. The gingerbread men are baked, along with a few extra shapes and characters, and we're ready to decorate the tree later tonight. The kids are excited and a little nostalgic with past memories; I'm feeling all maternal-like, wanting to make things cozy and gather everyone in.

It's such a sweet time...
